B2B SaaS | In person, remote or hybrid
Marketing Specialist
We're hiring a marketer built for the AI era: someone with some depth in the key areas of marketing (content, social, paid or similar), keen to build experience across the rest, and able to run campaigns end to end. You'll have real ownership from early on, and if you find an area you want to specialise in down the track, we'll back you there too.

About Rocketspark
Rocketspark is the website builder that puts small businesses in control and proves their website is working. Built in New Zealand for service businesses and the designers who support them, we now have customers across NZ, Australia, the UK and beyond. Proudly Kiwi, real people you can actually ring, and websites that work, made simple.
For a small team we get to do a lot of fun stuff. We're building a design community, working with an epic digital agency, running events at all sorts of scales and testing on a website that gets serious traffic. Our growth is accelerating and we're creating this brand new role to put even more spark in our rocket.
About the role
You'll report to Paul, our Head of Marketing, and work closely with Tyron on design, Danielle on community and events, and the legends in our Customer Success and Product teams. You'll be the execution engine across content, social, campaigns and website experiments. We plan in quarters and experiment constantly, so the mix of work shifts as we learn.
We use AI where it helps us deliver, but people are still key where it matters: the thinking, the taste and the judgement.
Key responsibilities include
Content
Write, publish and repurpose across blog, email and web. The engine has a head start (content pillars built, plenty of ideas waiting), and your job is to help run it every week.
Social
Be a core part of our co-owned social rotation. Creating and scheduling but also showing up: engaging with partners, joining conversations, noticing what competitors are doing.
Campaigns
Run them end to end with support at first (brief, build, launch, measure) and take them over as you go.
Growth
Write ad copy variations and analyse results for creative testing with our agency, and help run experiments on our website.
Product marketing
When features launch, help them land with positioning content and release comms.
Ideal skills and experience
You don't need every skill listed to be great in this role. If you're excited by the work and can see yourself growing into parts of it, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone with:
Around 3 years of marketing experience, with some depth in a couple of areas. B2B SaaS is a bonus, not a requirement.
Keen to build experience and work across the marketing disciplines rather than settle into one lane.
You've made things you can actually show us. A successful campaign, a content series, a channel you grew. We'd rather see work than jargon.
Strong writer who can shift tone between a blog post, an email and a social caption, and make each one sound like it was meant to be that thing.
Hands-on with AI tools, and curious enough to keep getting better at them.
Analytics and CRM don't scare you. We use HubSpot and can teach the specifics.
Curious and creative. You'll notice what the data's saying, what competitors are doing, and what's worth trying next. We'd rather rein in ideas than have to ask for them.
You like working as part of a team. Our socials are co-owned, campaigns cross the whole company and you'll be working closely with other teams.
Ambitious about your own growth
